ABOUT THE PROFESSION

Food quality management is aimed at controlling processes related to the production, processing and sale of food products in order to ensure their safety, quality and compliance with established standards. In this context, audit includes inspections for compliance with sanitary standards, control of production and storage processes, as well as monitoring suppliers and their products. Quality management involves the introduction of systems and practices aimed at continuously improving processes and reducing risks associated with the quality of food products.

Quality engineer, audit and quality management engineer is a profession aimed at developing modern methods of quality engineering; carrying out work on conformity assessment of products and productions, certification of products and productions, declaration of conformity of products and productions; development of regulatory documentation, new methods of product research; creation and implementation of modern quality and safety management systems at enterprises.

Graduates can develop and implement quality management systems, their certification and audit; develop new systems for managing the organization and ensure their functioning; work as experts and auditors, specialists of standardization centers; in government structures; in research institutes; in the field of consumer services, etc.
