ABOUT THE PROFESSION

Food quality management is aimed at controlling processes related to the production, processing and sale of food products in order to ensure their safety, quality and compliance with established standards. In this context, audit includes inspections for compliance with sanitary standards, control of production and storage processes, as well as monitoring suppliers and their products. Quality management involves the introduction of systems and practices aimed at continuously improving processes and reducing risks associated with the quality of food products.

Quality engineer, audit and quality management engineer is a profession aimed at developing modern methods of quality engineering; carrying out work on conformity assessment of products and productions, certification of products and productions, declaration of conformity of products and productions; development of regulatory documentation, new methods of product research; creation and implementation of modern quality and safety management systems at enterprises.

Anastasiia Loboda

The purpose of this work is to develop an algorithm for quantifying technological risks as an element of a quality management system in the production of dairy products (using the example of milk powder). In the work, the elements of quality management systems were studied for the subsequent implementation of procedures for the identification, analysis and evaluation of significant technological aspects arising in the process of milk powder production. The work is practically significant because it develops a quality management element for the identification and management of technological risks, which contributes to improving the quality of milk powder production.

Andrey Trofimov

The work is devoted to the analysis and recommendations on the preparation of standards of the organization regarding the use of test equipment. The management of equipment at the enterprise, including testing equipment, is one of the important and relevant topics, both for obtaining high-quality products and for reducing the costs of the organization in the product manufacturing. The option of creating an organization standard considered in this paper is one of the options for achieving effective use of test equipment.

Vladimir Nifontov

The work is devoted to the development of a standard procedure describing the procedure for unplanned shutdown of the ventilation system in clean rooms at an enterprise. The topic of the work was chosen in connection with the introduction of new pieces of equipment at the production site, as well as in connection with changes in the technology of preparation and bottling of the product. The legal and regulatory support for the creation of a procedure taking into account all GMP requirements is described.

Anastasia Telpiz

The main tasks in the work are devoted to the verification of conformity in the form of mandatory certification. The purpose of this work is analysis of legal and regulation in the field of conformity assessment of safety of children’s products, which contains the basic requirements for the quality of children’s products. The procedure for carrying out inspection control of certified products during the entire period of validity of the certificate of conformity for the issued products is outlined.

I have understood who I want to become since I was a child. My major is “Standardization and Metrology”. I grew up in places where it was impossible to describe the beauty of nature, with its purity and illimitable space. I saw that my parents worked hard and were engaged in food production. I was very curious about it and I wanted to follow in my parents’ footsteps. When I started my studies at RUDN, I took part in many exhibitions and forums and studied hard. I am happy that I have chosen this major and entered RUDN.

The quality of a product determines how much it will be in demand by users all over the world. If the products do not meet the standards, export is not possible. Consequently, when a country is banned from exporting due to lack of standardization, poverty comes to that country, which is why, for example, African countries are still called less developed. I take this opportunity to show young people from all over the world, especially African students, that RUDN has found a solution to all the above tasks. You just need to go to the Agrarian and Technological Institute, and major in “Standardization and Metrology”.

The program will help you learn about the international view of food safety rules and standards, quality infrastructure, highlight local and international features, the main tools that will help food companies in creating systems (such as HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, etc.) and gain project management experience.
